Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, Michael began his musical career from a young age, training as an orchestral percussionist and performing with Adelaide's premier youth orchestras.
His vocal career began with the lead role in the musical, 'Joseph & his Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat'. He has also performed in the smash hit musical, 'Bye Bye Birdie' and made several appearances at annual celebrations for the Royal Australian Air Force. Michael's television career includes appearances in the hit Australian television production, 'McLeod's Daughters', airing in over 32 countries.
In August, 2008, Michael won the Australian National Grand Final of the Karaoke World Championships, gaining the opportunity to represent his country in Lahti, Finland. He went on to win the international finals in October, 2008, resulting in appearances on Australia's top rating breakfast show, 'Sunrise' (Ch7) & 'The Morning Show' (Ch7), a feature in the Australian edition of 'Readers Digest' and newspapers nationally. He appeared on major radio stations around the country and was a special guest to a broadcast with the Hilltop Hoods, live from their studio.
In April, 2009, Michael was invited by the South Australian Government to perform the Australian National Anthem for their official Australian Citizenship Ceremony.
Michael now stands on the verge of international acceptance with the release of his first single, 'Tell Me'.
